Uniform resale

20 April 2024 ⎥School Senior library

The ESD (Education for Sustainable Developement) group held a Uniform Resale Event to provide a sustainable option for parents looking to buy and/or dispose of used uniform. The scheme provides a service for the boarding houses accumulating a steady supply of unwanted uniform.

We raised 1530 CHF that will go to a student selected charity.

Valais Wine Workshop

7 March 2024 ⎥ Château de Villa

With spring around the corner, we headed to Château de Villa in Sierre, who hosted us for a wonderful Wine Tasting Workshop demonstrating the wines of the Valais region. The Raclette tasting lunch that followed did not leave anyone hungry!

Winter Activities Day

30 January 2024

Winter is here! Our Winters Activities offered a morning of Ski Touring and Curling. A great opportunity to try a new wintersport together with a group and a guide. Our morning ended with a lunch at Zero Dix. Thanks for coming!

Winter Ball 2023

14 December 2023 ⎥ Crans Ambassador

The Parents Association and the Régent International School hosted their very first Winter Ball on Thursday, December 14 at the Crans-Ambassador Hotel. It was an unique opportunity for the members of our school community (parents, staff, students and alumni) to celebrate the end of the autumn term and spend a wonderful evening together off campus.

The evening included a 11 course Dinatoire, live music by Le Regent Jazz Band, live music by Classical Quartet, dance floor beats by Florian DJ Phileas Fogg, babysitting service and a successful PA fundraising Auction & Raffle.

Thank you to all who made this evening possible and our wonderful guests who made the evening magical!

Coctail-Dinatoire

On Friday 15 June one of our parents Laura has organized a Coctail-Dinatoire at the Foundation Opale in Lens at 6pm.

Welcome Back Jazz Night

4 September 2023

To welcome our new and existing parents back for another school year, we hosted a "Back to School Jazz Night" at the start of term. The School Jazz band was again a big success! Thank you to everyone attending and wishing you all a great term.

Activities Day & Lunch S23

22 June 2023

On June 22 the Parents Association hosted our first Parents Event - Activities Day & Lunch Summer 2023. The day was arranged around a choice of summer sporting events inlcuding golf, tennis and hiking and finished with a lunch together at the Golf Club. Thank you for everyone who participated and congratulations to the winning teams! See you in winter for our Snow Activities Day!

Le Regent Planting Project

18 May 2023

Le Regent School embarked on its third planting project on the school’s surrounding land. 150 trees were planted by the students to increase the biodiversity along the local stream. The Parent Association supported this fantastic event by providing snacks and drinks for students, teachers and parents.

Founding Assembly

2 May 2023

In May 2023 our Parents Association was formally established. During our Founding Assembly we elected our committee and approved our charter. We thank everyone who has showed their support and contributed with input during the past months of forming our association.

Apéro at Viva Voce

2 May 2023

To celebrate the creation of our association we gathered for an aperitif and at Viva Voce. We were delighted to see so many familiar and also new faces.

The Parents dinner was the first event the Parent Association Development Group (PADG) since the group started in November 2022.
